Nancy was very pleasant and the whole staff helped me out!
I’ve been a patient Aspen dental in Manahawkin New Jersey close to two years. They’re very personable and they really take your time to explain an action plan to keep your teeth, healthy highly recommend.
Where can I even begin. All my life I’ve been terrified of the dentist, but from the moment I walked in the office I instantly felt more at ease. I’ve never met a sweeter and friendlier staff in any medical office in my entire life.
I went in last week for a tooth infection and they took the time to walk me through every little thing, and made sure I was okay every step of the way. Unfortunately, they told me I needed to have 10 teeth extracted, but there was never once any judgement, only reassurance that they were there to help. They were able to book me just a week later to handle my extractions.
Today I had that appointment, I was nervous. Right when I walked in the door I was met again with the sweet optimism of everyone there. Everyone that was there instantly remembered me and were really happy to see me back. It was a long appointment but it went by quick, only pain was from the needle but that’s given. I left the office with a full smile. The first one that I’ve seen on myself in 7 or 8 years. I am forever grateful to everyone in the office, they helped me along the way. They listened to my concerns, understood my tears, and supported me from the beginning. I am not good with names but once I return for my follow up I will get their names and mention them again. They all deserve every bit of praise, and they deserve the world.
What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a long-term and natural-looking way to replace one or more missing teeth. Designed to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, a bridge helps restore your smile with a seamless look. Beyond appearance, bridges support your oral health too—making it easier to chew, speak clearly and keep your teeth properly aligned.
What types of dental bridges are there?
Not sure which bridge is right for you? The best option depends on where your missing tooth is, how healthy your teeth are, and the health of your surrounding structure.Traditional, fixed bridge
This is the most common option. It uses crowns on both sides of the gap to hold the replacement tooth in place. Traditional bridges are strong and durable, making them a trusted choice for patients missing one or more teeth in the same area.
Cantilever bridge
Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap, a cantilever bridge relies on a single anchor tooth for support. While less common, it can be effective when other options are not available.
Maryland bridge
This conservative option attaches the replacement tooth using porcelain or metal wings bonded to the back of neighboring teeth. It requires less preparation but may not be as durable for areas that take heavy chewing pressure.
Implant-supported bridge
The most stable option, this type uses dental implants instead of natural teeth for support. Implant-supported bridges provide excellent strength and longevity, making them ideal for patients seeking a permanent solution.
