I came to Aspen right before my son’s wedding when I broke one of my front teeth - I was in a panic! The dentists were able to make a temporary denture within a week so that I could look good for the big day. I couldn’t be happier with the staff here as well - they are knowledgeable and attentive and always put me at ease. I am getting all of my dental work done here from now on. A special shout out to Dr. Senjalia as well as Ari at the front desk, Dani in finance, and Summer and Brittney (assistants). I highly recommend this Aspen Dental for all of your needs!!

Efficient, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring with my emergency visit.

First dentist I’ve been to in my life that I left happier. The bad reviews are definitely from people that don’t listen or don’t like what they hear. I got a cleaning. Felt great didn’t hurt at all. Every single other dentist I’ve been to made the next few days after a cleaning unbearable. Than I went back got 8 teeth extracted and temporary bridges put in until they’re fully healed. It’s 2 days later and I barely even notice that I got teeth removed. Slightest soreness that’s barely noticable and I haven’t even had to take any pain relievers. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If I could go with 6 stars I would.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
