I truly love coming here- and that’s saying a lot for a dentist. Dr. Kaur is a kind and smiley dentist, and she listens and explains everything beforehand, even when it takes a long time for me to understand and be comfortable. RDA Val is fast at x-rays, careful every time she needs to do something in my mouth and with my teeth, she’s funny and comforting, and she and Dr. Kaur work with perfect harmony and precision. Ayanna, the office lead is extremely friendly and calming even when I know I’m about to have a procedure or about to spend a good amount of money. Ayanna, and the other receptionists and other staff take the time to help me understand what I am paying for and how to create a payment plan to get my work done as soon as I can. This is where you want to be. I’ve even been late and cancelled without notice and they are still kind to me because they know that I have so much anxiety and I work nights 60-80 hrs a week. If you need work done with the least amount of mental, physical and financial pain, come here.

Very Professional.

What are wisdom tooth extractions?

Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars to erupt, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Not all wisdom teeth require removal—but when they cause pain, crowding or infection, tooth extraction is often the most effective solution. If the tooth is fully visible, it can usually be removed with forceps under local anesthesia. For teeth that are impacted or partially emerged, a minor surgical procedure may be needed. Your Aspen Dental care team will walk you through which option is best for you and explain how we minimize discomfort.

Reasons to get a wisdom tooth extraction

You may need removal if you experience:

Types of wisdom tooth extractions

Non surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth has fully erupted, removal is straightforward. Under local anesthesia, your Aspen Dental dentist gently loosens and extracts the tooth with forceps.

Surgical wisdom tooth extractions

When a wisdom tooth is impacted or angled incorrectly, a surgical approach may be needed. Your Aspen Dental dentist makes a small opening in the gum to remove the tooth, sometimes placing sutures to aid healing.
