I haven't received all my SDC aligners. Can I get the remaining ones from Motto?
Your Aspen Dental dentist will determine the number of Motto aligners you will need to complete your treatment plan. This could potentially be more or less than what you were treated for with SDC. Your Aspen Dental doctors will be there to assist you every step of the way.
How much do Motto aligners cost, and how long does the treatment take?
Aspen Dental makes Motto treatment affordable with patient financing solutions. We accept insurance—and typically an insurance policy that covers traditional braces also covers Motto to the same extent. Aspen Dental also accepts tax-free dollars using an FSA or HSA. Motto treatment can be completed in as little as 6 months.³ Your personal treatment may vary depending on your needs and will be determined by your dentist.

How does Motto's aligner treatment compare to SDC in terms of effectiveness?
Motto is a clear aligner treatment, similar to SDC. There is no specific evidence that Motto is more or less effective than SDC treatment. However, Motto treatment engages the teeth better by utilizing things that SDC did not, such as attachments and IPR (interproximal reduction) to move teeth as effectively and predictably as possible.
How often do I need to change your aligners compared to SDC?
We recommend you listen to your Aspen Dental doctor for recommendations on when to change your aligner. On average, you will wear your aligner for one week then move onto the next one.

How long will it take to switch from SDC to your aligner treatment?
