Nearly 40 veterans received the dental care they desperately needed
The MouthMobile is a 42-foot-long dental office on wheels that travels the country providing free dental care to our nation’s veterans. This year the MouthMobile will visit 30 cities.
Dr, Chetana Sarjapur and her team treated 19 veterans in the Buckeye State’s capital. Local media attended the event as did a representative from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s office, who talked with the MouthMobile team and veteran patients.
In West Virginia, Drs. Stephanie Nichols and Joel Cost were able to help veteran patients at their community’s MouthMobile stop. And representatives from the offices of Congressman Alex Mooney, and U.S. Senator Shelley Capito visited the Aspen Dental team and spent time speaking to the patients.
Aspen Dental’s commitment to veterans is also front-and-center on its annual Day of Service. On that day, hundreds of Aspen Dental-branded practices nationwide open their doors exclusively to veterans and take care of their most urgent dental needs for free.
These programs and others are part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement. Since 2014, Aspen Dental teams have donated more than $10.4 million in dentistry to more than 17,000 veterans and people in need.
